Obituary of Andrew Elmore

Andrew Joseph Elmore was born November 12, 1993 in Trenton, Michigan. He was the son of William Randolph Elmore and Marie (Daniels) Elmore. Andrew attended Jefferson High School and later earned his GED. Recently, he had taken employment at Clean Tech Inc. in Dundee, Michigan. Andrew enjoyed being active. He loved ice hockey and had participated in many youth leagues. He also enjoyed mixed martial arts. Andrew loved all sorts of music and every night he fell asleep to the sound of something. He was extremely shy and easy going. This never stopped him, however, from having a wonderful group of friends. Andrew was a loving and caring son and brother. He often enjoyed picking on his little sister, but would not allow others to do the same. Andrew Joseph Elmore, age 18, of Newport a lifelong area resident passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 near his home. His passing was preceded by his grandparents: Clyde Elmore, Shirley and Orville Guilford, and Rita and Earl Daniels. To cherish his memory he leaves his parents: William and Marie Elmore of Newport; his sister: Mary Elizabeth Elmore of Newport; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his Godparents: Earl Daniels, Jr. and Rhonda Brna. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm; Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will take place at 12:30pm, Friday; November 2, 2012 also at Merkle's. Reverend Roy Southerland, Pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Humane Society.
