Obituary of Shelly Deaton

Shelly Marie Deaton September 26, 1970 - October 12, 2012 Shelly Marie Deaton was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 26, 1970. She was the daughter born from the union of William Deaton of Kentucky and Myra (Lymond) Deaton of Monroe. Shelly was a graduate of Monroe High School. Shelly worked as a clerk and was employed by Meijer. She was a God Fearing woman and loved Jesus Christ. Shelly always made church her priority and was a member of Elevate Church. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and watching Detroit Tiger's games. Shelly was a beautiful and wonderful mother, she always did for others. Shelly had a contagious laugh and surrounded herself with friends and family, who loved her dearly. Shelly Marie Deaton, age 42, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 12, 2012. Shelly was preceded by her paternal grandparents: Millard and Opal Deaton; her maternal grandparents: Harry and Virginia Lymond; her uncle: John; and three aunts: Shirley, Geraldine, and Mildred. To cherish her memory, she leaves her parents: William and Myra Deaton of Monroe; her daughter: Desirae Rose Deaton of Monroe; a brother: William (Jacqueline) Deaton of Monroe; a nephew: Michael Deaton of Monroe; and a niece: Kassie Deaton of Monroe. Friends may gather from 2:00 pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 also at Merkle's. _____ of Elevate Church will officiate. Procession will follow to LaSalle Township Cemetery in LaSalle Township. Memorial donations for those who desire are suggested to the Deaton Family.
