Obituary of Danny Bray

Danny Eugene Bray was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 23, 1958. He was the son of the late J.C. Bray and the late Gladys (Sullivan) Bray. Danny had attended Monroe Public Schools.
For more than twenty-five years, Danny worked in the construction industry. He was a member of Local 465, and had been trained in the removal of asbestos.
Bruno as he was affectionately called by those who knew him was an avid sports fan. As a young man he had participated with many softball leagues. He was a proponent for local sports teams as well as a die-hard Detroit Tiger baseball and Detroit Lion football fan. He always looked forward to watching the next game. Danny was also a talented pool player. He was a champion, having earned many awards and trophies throughout the years.
Danny Eugene Bray age 55 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. His passing was preceded by his parents.
To cherish his memory he leaves two daughters: Melissa L. Kimberly and Nicole Kimberly both of Orlando, Florida; three brothers: Bill Bray, Ray (Debbie) Bray, and Robert Bray; four sisters: Dorothy (Arley) Harris, Susan (Larry) Addis, Bonnie Bray, and Kelly (Doug) Feasel all of Monroe; and five grandchildren: Brandon Ballard, Makiya Ballard, Taylor Jones, Hailee Barnette, and Preston Kimberly.
Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will follow at 7:00pm. Cremation will follow through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan.
