My mom and Deb's mom were the closest of friends when we were growing up. They were both single moms raising kids on their own and formed a bond that would last a lifetime. As you could imagine, both moms worked A LOT, making my oldest sister, Vickie, Debbie and Sharon responsible for the rest of us in their absence. I can remember Debbie and my sister, Vickie, dancing using the doorknob as their 'dance partners'. We were all very close, all 8 kids and 2 moms. Aunt Bennie invited us to stay with them so we all shared a two story house together. It holds some of the best memories growing up. We had nothing but we had tons of fun and love and just didn't care about the rest of it. We were survivors. Debbie was a great big sister. She was caring, funny and loyal. I will always remember her in the fondest way possible. I Love You, Deb, Sharon and Aunt Bennie
