Casper Marchese Jr.
January 22, 1930—June 22, 2012
Casper Marchese Jr. was born in Monroe, Michigan on January 22, 1930. He was the son of Casper Marchese and Mary (Cannoe) Marchese. He married Madeline (Patterfritz) on December 29, 1951 and from this union came the birth of three children.
Casper served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War as a sharp shooter. He liked telling war stories and stories about his military career. Casper worked for thirty years for Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the St. Joseph Church, the Monroe VFW, and UAW Local 723.
Casper loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, along with the family pets (Hammi, Junior and Zoey). He enjoyed watching I Love Lucy, Sanford and Son, The Three Stooges, and the Detroit Tigers. Casper was very proud of his Italian heritage, including native food with sweets being a soft spot for him. He was the kind of man to give his shirt off his back and would always put others needs before his own. He was simply just the nicest man anyone could ever meet.
