Antonyo Vincent Plott
October 22, 1988 - May 27, 2012
Antonyo Vincent Plott was born in Cadillac, Michigan on October 22, 1988. He was the son of Tony L. Plott and Cindy (Gage) Plott. In 2001, the family moved to Newport from the Canton area. Antonyo attended Airport Community Schools and played football in middle school. He later earned his GED.
Antonyo was known by his friends as Tone, and by his family as Tonyo. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around, sometimes he was just a big goof. Antonyo was a big-hearted, loving young man with a generous heart. He would willingly give anything to anyone. He was loved by all who had contact with him. Antonyo was spontaneous at times, but always very determined and strong willed as an individual.
Antonyo loved playing basketball, listening to music, and hanging with his friends. He enjoyed Mixed Martial Arts and had trained diligently. He was fierce in the ring and his amateur MMA record stands at 6 and 0.
Antonyo was employed as a line cook for Big Boy and Pete's Garage for three years prior to working assembly the past two months for Horizon Manufacturing.
Antonyo Vincent Plott age 23 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by a sister: Jessica Plott and a step grandfather: Jimmy Crawford.
To cherish his memory he leaves behind his father: Tony (Melissa Hamilton) Plott; his mother: Cindy Plott; maternal grandparents: Tony and Betty Gage of Marian, Michigan and paternal grandmother: Beatrice Crawford of Georgia; two sisters: Cassandra Plott of Monroe and Carressa Plott of Petersburg; two nephews: Stephen and Anthony; and two nieces: Juliana and Jessabell.
Friends may gather from 12:00pm until 7:00pm, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Dave Tackett officiating. Cremation will follow.
