Obituary of Marian Beaudrie

Marian Martha Fountain was born in Rockwood, Michigan on March 19, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Alvie and the late Iva (Fuller) Fountain. Marian attended Trenton High School and graduated in the year of 1946. Marian married the love of her life, Robert Beaudrie, on May 3, 1947 at St. Mary's Church. From this union came the birth of five children. Marian loved her husband and children very much and saw to it that they had everything that they needed growing up. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marian's calmness and easygoing sprit was comforting to all who knew her. She was a jokester at heart and always made the best of every situation. Marian had a love for the water and enjoyed fishing and boating on the weekends. She also enjoyed the company of her good friends playing Bunco. On her creative side, Marian delighted in making decorated cakes for her friends and family. Marian Martha Beaudrie, age 85 of Rockwood, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Oakwood Southshore Hospital in Trenton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother: Arletus Fountain; a daughter-in-law: Julie Beaudrie; and three grandchildren: Mark David Buchs, Steven Mitchell Buchs, and Joseph Allen Buchs. To cherish her memory, Marian leaves behind a loving husband of 67 years: Robert Beaudrie; two daughters: Lynn (Mitch) Buchs of Rockwood and Denise (Kirk) Rohn of Lincoln Park; and three sons: Robert (Linda) Beaudrie of Monroe, Ronald (Rose) Beaudrie of Rockwood, and Richard (Sally) Beaudrie of Newberry; thirteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 also at Merkle's. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the family for funeral expenses.
