Alyssa Nicole England was born in Monroe, Michigan on August 10, 1987. She was the daughter of Gregory L. Goins and Sheila Rae England. Alyssa attended Bedford Schools and was a 2005 graduate of Bedford High School.
As a child Alyssa was exasperating and at times very challenging, but as a young woman she displayed poise and responsibility.
Alyssa was an extremely loving and caring individual. She was a great listener, understanding, and outgoing, and she was a joy to be around. Alyssa loved to be outside and she enjoyed long walks. She enjoyed music and Alyssa loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed sewing and always looked forward to the opportunity to travel and loved scrapbooking and cooking.
Alyssa was a beloved mother, sister, daughter and granddaughter. Alyssa aspired to be a hairdresser, and she had recently completed her cosmetology classes.
Alyssa Nicole England age 24 of Temperance passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Toledo. Her passing was preceded by her grandmother: Dollie England in 1996.
To cherish her memory she leaves two sons: Caleb Russel of Temperance and Aiden Lorenzen; one daughter: Hailey Allen of Temperance; her father: Gregory Goins of Monroe; her mother: Sheila England Collum of Monroe; three sisters: Katrina Collum of Monroe, Kelsey England of Toledo, and Ryanna England of Temperance; paternal grandparents: Bobby and Judy Goins of Temperance; maternal grandfather: Harding England of Monroe; and two nieces: Sage Perry and Kaylee Nagy.
Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 11:00am, Friday, May 11, 2012 also at Merkle's. Sister Kate O'Brien Chaplain of Mercy Memorial Hospice will officiate. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
