Obituary of Robert Beaudrie
Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert Francis Beaudrie was born in Monroe on September 2, 1925. He was one of seven children born form the union of the late Louis and Stella (Bondy) Beaudrie. Robert proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, earning the rank of Sergeant and receiving a Good Conduct, a World War II Victory, and a European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal.
Robert married the love of his life, Marian Martha (Fountain) Beaudrie, on May 3, 1947 at St. Mary's Church and from this union came the birth of five children. Robert was a hard worker and supported his family as a Carpenter. He was employed for more than thirty-five years at Monsanto Chemical Plant before retiring in 1985.
Family meant the world to Robert and he adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was often elated to just hang out or play cards. Robert had a great sense of humor and was happiest when making others laugh, often using zany family stories as the source. As an avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed camping, hunting without a weapon, and fishing with his father-in-law.
