I remember when Uncle Earl and Ruby came down to Salisbury, NC in 1966 when our dad, Earl's brother, Ellis Cornett died. I was just a child, but I recall Earl was a quiet man, and Ruby was quite chatty and friendly. My sister's Brenda (deceased in August of this year), Karen, and our brother Wayne remember much more of the visit than I, as I was only 10 at the time. But I recall that he looked so much like our dad, Ellis, who was born in 1927. Rest well, Uncle Earl. Enjoy praising the Lord with your brothers and sisters.
