Papa lived life to the fullest. His sense of humor, compassion that he showed others and dedication to his family will be sorely missed. The memories are so numerous I don't know how to pick just one. Papa was always the gentleman it was so deeply ingrained in him. I remember taking him to his cancer treatments and he insisted on opening every single door. He would not allow me to push him in a wheelchair but he insisted on walking. I do not know how to go on without him. The hole that is left in my heart seems to be insurmountable. But I do know that he would not want us to be sad. Papa would want everyone to be loud, proud, happy, and eat lots of pasta! I will cherish the memories that were created over the years. I love you Papa.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Roman family & the Wilson Family. My best memories of growing up were spent at the Romans house in Wyandotte. The first time we met I was 12 and Kelly invited me for dinner. You sat next to me and sneezed, I looked at you and you had a bubble in your nose. I wanted desperately to laugh as You, Sunny, Kelly and Valerie were all looking at me waiting for a reaction. You pulled it out and handed it to me, the infamous tiny light bulb. I knew from that point on this was my kind of family. The many summers spent in the pool, you launching us so high in the air we swore we were as high as the electric wires. The Alabama 8 track that would play in the car that we would sing to the top of our lungs. The hours you would spend painting our faces and creating costumes for us for Halloween were sure to win 1st prize everytime. You walking in and looking at me, Kelly and Valerie as the music was blaring and we sang You light up my life or some Ann Murray. You would smile and close the door. Your humor, Italian gestures, cooking (except for the fermented fruit) and your smile will be sorely missed by many. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for the memories! Love, Lisa (TickyTack) & Kevin Walbridge P.S. Rutata boom boom & Call Sam Berstein “…And, when he shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun.” William Shakespeare
