Obituary of Juanita Kaiser

Juanita Dawn Kaiser July 31, 1930 - March 14, 2008 Juanita Dawn Kaiser, age 77, passed away at 12:37am on Friday, March 14, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe. She had been in poor health for the past seven years. Juanita was born on July 31, 1930 in Clayton, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Joe Fletcher and Lennie Mae (Oakley) Pullum. She married Bernard Kaiser on Dec. 24, 1969 in Newport. Juanita enjoyed gardening and she especially loved her tomatoes. She also enjoyed spending time with family at their Cabin in Lewiston, Michigan. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Bernard of Newport; her daughter: Linda Altis of Livonia; two stepsons: Brian and his wife Brenda Kaiser of Newport and Bernard C. "Butch" Kaiser of Howell; a step daughter: Sherry Thorn and her husband Ron Lifort of Newport; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and a son-in-law: Charles S. "Chuck" Altis in 1998. No services have been set. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. Private placement of the cremains will take place in Lewiston. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Township, was entrusted with her arrangements.
