Obituary of Kenneth Sisk

Kenneth Morrison Sisk November 5, 1948 - February 17, 2008 Kenneth M. Sisk, age 59, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 17, 2008 in Adrian, Michigan. Kenneth was born November 5, 1948 in Chattanooga, Tennessee the son of the late James and Margaret (Crawford) Sisk. He graduated from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. For two years Kenneth attended college at the Air Force Academy. He was drafted into the United States Navy and served proudly during the Vietnam conflict until. He married Lenore (Wyzorowski) March 18, 1972. Kenneth's family warmly recalls his kind, giving heart. He was an extremely hard worker who always made time "to stop and smell the roses". He was employed for thirty years by E & L Transport, delivering Ford automobiles retiring in 2008. Kenneth was a member of the Teamsters Local 299. Kenneth attended Southpoint Community Christian Church of Trenton. He especially enjoyed playing golf and watching it on television. Kenneth made, camping a Sisk family tradition, and also enjoyed boating, snow-skiing, dirt biking, and surfing. He was an awesome grandfather who enjoyed "babysitting". He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of thirty five years, Lenore, of Newport; four children: Cheridy and Keith Howard of Thailand, Shane and Brandi Sisk of Monroe, Bridget and Christopher Russ of Newport, Jesse Sisk and his fiance Jessica Bills of Brownstown; his mother and father-in-law: Virginia and Leonard Wyzorowski of Newport; a sister: Doris Jones of South Carolina, two brothers: Michael and Susan Sisk of Georgia, and James and Susan Sisk of Tecumseh; ten grandchildren: Rhiley, Dylan, Cameron, Chelsey, Colin, Hunter, Alexandria, Connor, Ethan, and Kaden Kenneth, and his Collie, Sandy. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may Gather from 2-8pm, Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will be take place Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 11:00am at Merkle Funeral Service. Cremation will follow through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. According to his wishes Scattering of his Cremains will take place at a later date in the Atlantic Ocean at Sebastian Inlet, Florida.
