Roseanne E. Rauch, 84 a lifelong resident of Monroe passed away at the Lutheran Home in Monroe where she had resided for the past year at 9:30pm, Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may gather from 10:30am until a memorial service at 11:00am, Monday, May 3, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 924 East Second Street, Monroe, Michigan 48161. Her final rest will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Michigan. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 was entrusted with her arrangements.
Roseanne was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 14, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Grancitelli and the late Generosa (Bonifacio) Grancitelli. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Mary's Academy. On September 9, 1950 she married Roy Joseph Rauch at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Roseanne was a homemaker and also worked at Monroe Upholsters. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and for many years served as chairperson of their craft booth during their annual festival.
Surviving are her daughter, Anne Gensler of Monroe; two grandchildren, Katie Jo (Larry) Russeau II and Michael L. Gensler both of Monroe; a brother Dominic Grancitelli of Monroe, a sister Lillian Cipolla of California, a dear sister-in-law: Wanda Grancitelli of Monroe and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Grancitelli, two sisters Mary Solomon and Lucille Morris and her son-in-law Gary L. Gensler.
