Obituary of Nicole Kolakowski

Nicole Lynn Kolakowski April 3, 1984 - March 12, 2010 Nicole Lynn Kolakowski was born on April 3, 1984 in Monroe, Michigan. Nicole was the daughter of the late Judith Kolakowski. At the age of four CJ Friend came into Nicole's life and he helped to raise her. Nicole attended Monroe High School and earned her GED. She loved the company of others and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Nicole's favorite hobbies were reading and spending time on the computer. She was also an animal lover. Nicole moved to the Adrian area five years ago, and then moved again to the Paw Paw region three months ago. Nicole Lynn Kolakowski age 25 of Paw Paw formerly of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 12, 2010 at her home. In addition to her mother: Judith Friend in 2004 her passing was preceded by two grandmothers: Mary Kolakowski in 2007 and Lillian J. Friend in 2006 and a grandfather: Louis T. Friend in 2005. She leaves to cherish her memory a stepfather: C.J. Friend of Monroe; a son: Christopher Hart; two brothers: David Alan Kolakowski and Bryan Thomas Friend both of Monroe; a sister: Lisa Marie Friend also of Monroe; and a niece: Judionna Lillian Marie Friend of Monroe. Friends may gather from 1:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 7:00pm. Cremation will follow through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan. Her final rest will take place at a later date with her mother Judith at St. Joseph Cemetery in Maybee.
