Jesse Allen Dunn
January 12, 1982 - March 20, 2010
Jesse Allen Dunn was born at Mercy Hospital in Monroe, Michigan on January 12, 1982. He was the son of Bill Dunn and Doris (Pierce) Dunn. Jesse grew up in the Monroe area and graduated from Monroe High School with the class of 2000.
Jesse enjoyed the outdoors, and his favorite pastime was fishing. He often visited the banks of the River Raisin to cast a few lines with friends. Keeping with his love of the outdoors he was an avid recycler. He also loved music, and the time spent with friends.
He met Kimberly White and they shared a special relationship. They made their home together and Jesse was honored to be a father to her two boys: Rodney and Devin.
Jesse age 28 of Monroe passed away on Saturday afternoon, March 20, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. His passing was preceded by his maternal grandparents: Opal and Frank Pierce.
His memory will forever be cherished by his parents: Bill and Doris of Monroe; two sisters: Kelly Dunn of Toledo, Ohio and Angela Rodriguez of Columbus, Ohio; his girlfriend: Kimberly White of Monroe; his boys: Rodney and Devin; paternal grandparents: William Dunn and Rita Keller both of Naples, Florida; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
On the day of his passing, Jesse gave the gift of life to six others through organ donation.
Friends may gather from 1:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will be held at Merkle's, 11:00am on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Following the service family and friends are invited to a luncheon. Burial will follow with his final rest near his grandparents at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, Ohio.
