Lisa Ann Martin
December 30, 1964 - January 22, 2012
Lisa Ann Martin was born on December 30, 1964 in Monroe the daughter of Floyd and Anna (Salenbien) Martin. She received her education through Monroe County Intermediate School District and had been a member of the HOPE Network.
Lisa was a lifetime Erie resident, where she was baptized and attended St. Joseph Church. She received her first communion at Mt. Carmel Church in Temperance. For more than twenty-four years, Lisa was employed by the Lambertville McDonalds performing cleaning and janitorial duties.
Lisa was extremely outgoing. She liked to participate at church and sharing in the "Our Father". She anxiously awaited her bus trip each day to Hope Network events. She loved to bowl, and enjoyed making items such as loop work and coloring. For many years she helped out with Community Living Services doing Meals on Wheels in Dundee, Adrian, and the Blissfield areas. Lisa also took her home responsibilities seriously reserving Saturdays for dusting.
Lisa loved to spend time with her family and she was a very special aunt to all her nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews. She especially loved the babies just like a mother hen.
Lisa, age 47, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 22, 2012. The family had been under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice. Her passing was preceded by a brother: Mark Martin on January 13, 2005 and her grandparents: Ben and Stella Salenbien and Antoinette and Floyd Martin.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her parents: Floyd and Anna Martin of Erie; three brothers: Floyd T. (Rev. Sally) Martin of LaSalle, Greg (Terri) Martin of Pataskala, Ohio, and Mike Martin of Temperance; one sister: Colleen (Jerry) Henry or Erie; ten nieces and nephews; thirteen great nieces and nephews; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
