Duane Richard Frink, age 66, of Romulus, Michigan, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Oakwood Dearborn Hospital.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Covenant Cremation and Funeral Society. Friends may call Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 4 pm until a memorial service at 7 pm at the Crane Funeral Home in Romulus, Michigan. The Rev. Greg Albright from the Van Born Baptist Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
He was born February 26, 1941 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Elmer and Robena (Broughton) Frink. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam from June, 1963 to June 1967.
Mr. Frink had been employed as a baggage handler for Northwest Airlines in Romulus, Michigan for 39 years before his retirement in 2003. His hobbies were photography and a Wayne/Garden City darts league.
Mr. Frink is survived by a daughter, Lori A. Steeers of Monroe; one sister Linda (Jerry) Olsen of Romulus; 3 brothers, Donald of Wayne, Robert of Romulus, and David (Kathy) of Lincoln, California; and a granddaughter, Alexis Steers of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents.
