Obituary of Diane Hisey

Diane Kee Olszewski was born in Detroit on March 28, 1948. She was one of seven children born from the union of the late Edward Sherwood and the late Geraldine Blanch (Warren) Hisey. Diane supported her three children by working as a Certified Nurse Assistant in nursing homes for over 20 years before finally retiring in 1993. She was always very social, often visiting with her family, when she was not with her friends. Diane loved the satisfaction that came with helping others, especially the elderly. She also loved dining out in various local restaurants, with a steak from Bob Evans or Applebees being two of her favorites. Diane Kee Hisey, age 67, of Carleton, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded a daughter: Yvonne Wilkinson, and two sisters: Kathy Leech and Susan Elliott. To cherish her memory, she leaves two sons: Frank (Kristal) Olszewski of Carleton, and Joe Olszewski; three sisters: Sherry (Art) Rock of Milan, Peggy (Al) Leech of Edmonton, and Mickey (Paul) Vick of Carleton; one brother: Ron (Sheila) Hisey of South Lyon; and four grandchildren: Nick Olszweski, Christian Olszewski, Heather Newton, and Steven Olszewski.
