Obituary of William Sharpe

William "Eddie" Payne-Sharpe was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 18, 1955. He was a son born from the union of William Sharpe and the late Anne (Jenkins) Payne. Ed Payne-Sharpe (Wm) age 59, of Monroe, Michigan passed away at 9:10pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 surrounded by his family at home. He had been under the care of Greats Lakes Caring Hospice. His passing was preceded by his mother: Anne Payne. To cherish his memory, Ed leaves his beloved wife of thirty-four years: Dana Sharpe of Monroe; his father: William Sharpe of Harrogate, Tennessee; two sons: Eddie (Amanda) Sharpe of Ohio and Ryan (Kelly) Sharpe of Monroe; daughter: Marcy (Mike Underwood) Sharpe of Monroe; and several grandchildren. Friends may gather from 10:00am until a Celebration of His Life at 11:00am on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 with Pastor Roy Southerland of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
