Lisa Lynn Bomia was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 27, 1962. She was one of five children born from the union of the late William C. Bomia and Joan Knight. Lisa supported her family for over twenty years as an office receptionist and nurse at Dr. Feyez office. Outside of work she enjoyed time with her family and enjoying lying in the sun out by the pool. Lisa was very crafty, often scrapbooking. She enjoyed the peace that came with reading, often reading Diary of a Mad Woman and some scripture, The Book of Job became her favorite. Lisa Lynn Barboza, age 52 of Monroe, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at home. In addition to her father, her passing was preceded by a brother: William J. Bomia; and nephew: William C. Bomia. To cherish her memory, Lisa leaves her daughter: Heather Scznsny of Monroe; her mother: Joan Knight of Monroe; sister: Leslie Bomia of Monroe; brothers: Jeffrey (Theresa) Bomia of Southgate and Greg Bomia of Monroe; grandchildren: Lucas Lee and Zahara Ellie Pollard of Monroe, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may gather from 11:00am till 12:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church 108 Washington Street Monroe, Michigan. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon with Reverend Jessie Myers officiating.
