To the family, I have fond memories of Larry as a fellow classmate (MHS 1961). In our Senior year we had to complete a project for the craftsman fair. Larry did not have anything so I gave him a plate I had made in woodshop in the 9th grade. Came back to school on Monday morning to find the plate I had given him got 1st place and the one I submitted, made during our Senior year, got 2nd place. Hope this puts a smile on your face; it did mine. You are in our prayers, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Hedrick

When we were still at Hol;y Ghost school we played a game of touch-football. I was center and had to block Larry. Did not work well for me. After I snapped the ball and looked up here he came right over top of me. I wasn't too small but Larry was the biggest kid in the game.

Please accept our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. Larry was a good, kind and generous man and will be greatly missed. We remember the many nights when our kids would wait at the back of our lot in Frenchtown Villa for Larry and his team of horses to come along for their nightly ride through the woods. I also remember when out of the goodness of his heart he helped me with a job during a difficult time in our early marriage. God bless you Larry you will be missed.

Uncle Larry you are in a much better place now. I bet you are playing a game of cards or two up in Heaven and embracing all our loved ones whom have passed before you. I'm very sorry to the Gilstorff family for the loss of their wonderful and kind father/brother/friend/uncle/cousin. May you all find peace in knowing that he is now joined by the love of his life Judy at the pearly gates where there is everlasting life with God. I'm so happy we were able to see you all and visit Uncle Larry during his last days of here on earth. He was always smiling even in pain, I will never forget the wink he gave us as we left. I truly believe he was at peace and happy he could finally rest his tired eyes with Judy and God. Xoxo
