I did not know Danielle, but I worked with her daughter, Candy, for many years at Spirit Airlines. My prayers and condolences go out to all of the family and my hope is that Danielle is at peace

When I visited my son Steve, my daughter-in-law, Jackie, and my granddaughter Dakota two summers ago, I attended a party at Candy's house for the Fourth of July. There I met Danielle. We got along famously right away. We talked for at least 1 1/2 hours. We had so much in common: going through a divorce, raising kids, becoming a career woman, making our own decisions and leading our own lives. Then cancer hits and decisions have to be made about how we will go on from there. Going through chemo and radiation, plus the effects they had on us made us dependent on others when we wanted to keep our independence. Yes, we shared a lot together and became sisters through our common adversities
When Warren and I came to visit Jackie, Dakota, and Steve during May 2014, Danielle went with us to Perrysburg, where we had a delightful dinner. We have pictures of us standing outside the restaurant. That was the last time I saw Danielle. I have nothing but great memories.
God speedy, Danielle. May the angels hold your hand do you don't lose your way. You get to see the face of God. Dance and shout for joy. Your trials are over.

My heart goes out to Danielle's family, I was so sad to hear of her passing. I worked with Danielle in 2004 and again from 2010-2012. She was so proud of her girls and she talked about them all the time. She was such a kind and gentle person and she will truly be missed. I'm glad that she was able to spend her last years in Michigan with her family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.
