Betty Lou (Danielson) Pryor, 81 of Temperance, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born April 29, 1933 in Pomeroy, OH to Perley & Greta (Thompson) Danielson. She attended Moxahala Schools. Betty married the love of her life, Keith V. Pryor on May 26, 1948. Together they would raise five wonderful children. She received her spiritual nourishment at Countryside Wesleyan Church where she actively served as treasurer and provided meals for many ministries within the church. Betty was a fun, loving mother who would do anything for family. She was a strong woman, well respected by others and a great support to her children and their friends. Betty loved to browse through garage sales and antique shops. She enjoyed having lunch out with family and friends. Betty was a talented seamstress, a great cook and took joy in crocheting and quilting. To cherish her memory she leaves five children: Sharon Wrege of Monroe, Juanita Pryor-Lucke of Temperance, Jerry (Colleen) Pryor of Temperance, Debra (Bernie) Moss of Maumee and David (Wendy Warren) Pryor of Temperance; fifteen grandchildren; over thirty great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by her husband of sixty six years, Keith V. Pryor; two brothers: Victor Barton and Ray Barton; and three sisters: Violet Lieber, Irene Steele and Eloise Riffle. Friends may gather for a Celebration of Her Life at 11:00am on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio in the Chapel of Peace with Pastor Andy Hill officiating. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and kindness Betty received by the doctors and nurses at Flower Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to Countryside Wesleyan Church, Temperance, MI or Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH in Betty's memory.
