Sorry I am out of town and cannot pay my respects. Your folks always treated me just like family and were always concerned about me and my family. Wonderful memories of Saturday nites at the Erie bar. All the Delrues and how they have ran their lives is such a great tribute to Unckle Albert and Aunt Kate. To this day I smile when I see the Red Roof Inn in Grand Rapids as I will always remember Albert and Kate moving the Erie bar temporarily to the balcony of the red roof inn. Sympathy. Dean Anteau

I loved A. Kate. She was always a bubble, with her infectious smile and her uncanny ability to remember our names. Not many people, or relatives for that matter could do that, but she did. At Charlie and Karen's wedding I wanted a picture with her and she was so humbled and honored, making me feel more special than I could imagine. I can't find the picture right now, but it was so good of both of us and a treasure for me. Love you A. Kate, enjoy your time in heaven, you deserve it!! Love, Mary Carmel

I remember how much Kate loved to take pictures. She had her camera everywhere. One particular memory I have is one event (I believe it was a grand child's first communion), Kate had her camera in church and was taking plenty of pictures. At one point the flash on the camera didn't seem to be working and when she turned it around to look at it, the flash went off . We laughed so hard, but it only stopped her for a moment. She waited until she had her vision back and started snapping again. Bless her and may she rest in peace.
