Obituary of Jeffery Nelson
Jeffery was a man set in his ways, known both for his stubbornness and his capacity for kindness. Despite his sometimes-gruff exterior, Jeffery had a solid heart. His actions spoke volumes, particularly in the way he engaged with his neighborhood. Although he was perfectly capable of mowing his own lawn, Jeffery offered this opportunity to local kids looking to earn a bit of money.
Above anything, Jeffery cherished his family. Even though he was a solitary figure in many respects, he found comfort in spending time with his brothers, especially during their hunting trips up north. Knowing that food brought loved ones together, Jeffery loved cooking, especially his well-sought-after chicken and dumplings and mostaccioli.
Football was his passion, and he was the Minnesota Vikings' most loyal fan. Every Sunday during the season, he could be found donning in his Vikings jersey, fervently cheering from his living room as if he were in the stands of the stadium. After football season ended, Jeffery could be found perched in front of the television watching old westerns. Many nights, he sat contently in his chair, engrossed in the tales of cowboys and outlaws.
Jeffery ‘s deep affection extended to his faithful, beloved four-legged companions: Bentley, Willie, and Riley. In his heart, he hoped to outlive them to spare them grief, but life had its own plans.
