Obituary of Carol Joy West

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Carol Joy Anteau was born in Adrian, Michigan on May 31, 1958.  She was the daughter of Wilbert Anteau and Laura Jean (Morell) Anteau.  She attended Adrian Community Schools.

Carol married Harold “Buster” Victor West on September 27, 1980.  The couple was blessed with a blended family of five children.  Carol cared for the needs of her husband, children, and grandchildren as a homemaker.  She loved animals, especially dogs.  Later in life, she was further blessed with grandchildren which she took every opportunity to spoil.

Carol loved riding motorcycles and courtesy of “Buster” had owned nine throughout the years.  She often rode by herself although her brother James and daughters’ former-in-laws the Bennett’s were cherished riding partners as well.  Carol enjoyed sharing her passion, taking the children and grandchildren with her.  She liked painting statues, recently completing a butterfly, to add to her concrete yard statue collection.  She also collected and received pandas and jewelry with gold rings and bracelets from Osterman's being her favorites.
