Obituary of Carl White Young
Carl White Young was born November 14, 1943, in Oneonta, New York. He was one of four children born to the union of Philip and Effie Glee (Maeck) Young. Carl attended Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, New York, graduating with the class of 1961. On August 6, 1976, Carl married the former Caroline Burgard in Banksville, Pennsylvania. Together, they were blessed with two sons, Douglas and James. Both Carl and Caroline were active members of the Huron Baptist Church in Flat Rock, Michigan. He loved watching Fox News and was an avid reader with a particular interest in books about the "old west". He took pride in his red F150 Lightning edition pick-up truck with a modified engine and transmission, which he enjoyed driving only in good weather conditions, ensuring it never saw rain or snow.
Family was at the center of Carl's life, and he cherished his roles as a husband, father, and Papa above all else. Known for his caring nature, Carl was someone everyone turned to with their problems.
