We were definitely raised in a time of being raised by a village, and Sara I can say was one of my mothers. I grew up in the backseat of her car riding carpool for years and in her house being chased by a weiner dog named Suzie Q, with bikes in front of her house.
I have countless memories of Sara, Jessica, Bryan and Ken/Chuck. I specifically remember Sara picking me up from my grandfather's funeral when I was too sick to attend the outside burial portion and have many more countless memories too.
I have adult memories of taking my husband out to CA to stay with Sara and Chuck for a week long stay and Sara and her sister stayed at my house for a singing stay once in Denver too.
Sara wasn't just a childhood memory, but a second mom and will be missed. I am sorry ALS took Sara too soon from us all, it isn't fair to lose the good ones so soon, so young. XOXO

We always loved our time with Sarah and Ken! We knew them from the “Tuttle street gang” in Danville, Illinois. Had so many good times especially at Di & Jeff’s, and Vickie’s and Merle’s. When Gary & Shelley, & I came to California to visit we had such a good time. It was the year Titanic won best picture. Sarah took Shelley and me to see the movie lots. She was always an “up” person! She loved her kids and grandkids unconditionally! God’s blessings for her and all of her family! I have no doubt she is in God’s hands now!
Our love and prayers are with you all!
