Obituary of Terry Lynn Short
Terry Lynn Webb was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 2, 1957. She was the daughter of Vernon and Susan (Gill) Webb. She grew up in Monroe, Michigan where she attended Monroe High School.
Throughout her life, Terry made her home in several different areas across the state, including Monroe, Newaygo, and Jackson. While residing in Newaygo, she owned and operated a restaurant, “Terry’s City Limits”, for four years. Terry was also employed as a manager, waitress, and cook at “Tasty Boy” in Monroe, which she had also owned for a time as well.
Terry tried her luck on the slots at many casinos in the State of Michigan. She also loved to play bingo every chance she had. Terry bowled four nights a week in league play at the Monroe Sports Center. She enjoyed challenging herself to a jigsaw puzzle and any willing opponent to a game of Euchre or Rummy. Quiet nights at home were often spent tuning in to crime dramas such as “Criminal Minds” and “Law & Order”.
Terry loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She always looked forward to camping trips at local campgrounds. Simply sitting around a bonfire and relaxing while sharing stories and having a laugh was all she needed to be content. A loving mother and "grammy", Terry was a friend to all. Although she could be stubborn and sassy at times, Terry had the best intentions in her heart.
