Obituary of Davion Hodges

Davion Hodges December 9, 2014 Davion Hodges was unexpectedly stillborn into this world on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. The beautiful baby boy, a gift from Heaven, was from the union of Antonio Hodges and Christy Turner. Antonio and Christy had anxiously anticipated the arrival of their new gift into their already busy home which included Davion's brothers: Demetrius and Dayvid Hodges. Davion most certainly would have enjoyed rough housing with his big brothers, and they most certainly would have looked after him. Although, Davion's earthly life was short, the joy he brought and the lives he touched were immense. His passing was preceded by maternal grandmother: Charlotte Turner; maternal great uncle: David McMullen; maternal great aunt: Helen Cole; maternal great grandpa: Clyde Turner Sr.; and maternal great aunt: Irene Turner. He leaves to cherish his memory a maternal uncle: Clyde Allen Turner; paternal grandmother: Brenda Hodges of Tennessee; maternal grandfather: Clyde Turner of Monroe; maternal great grandparents: Glenna and Morris McMullen of Monroe; maternal great grandmother: Elizabeth Turner of Monroe. Friends may gather from 11:00am until a Celebration of His Life at 12:30pm, Monday, December 15, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe 14567 South Dixie Highway (734) 241-7070. Reverend Roy Southerland pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
