The first thing I noticed when I met Betty was the warm glow in her eyes and how she made me and everyone feel. I had several holiday family dinners in her home. {Patty is married to my brother Richard} Betty's cooking was simply amazing, words cannot possibly describe her cooking! It was always leg of lamb for Easter, it was nothing less than a feast every year. She filled those holidays with such warmth, laughter and the Love of the Lord all around me. Hers was a home..you just never wanted to leave. I feel very blessed to have known her.

To the Besedich Family, I don't know if you all will remember me, but my son Shaun and I lived next door to the south of your Mom and Dad. Shaun was just little, but he called your Mom "B". Your all have our sympathy, and prayers. I use to think about your Mom and Dad often and how they would love to see Shaun. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When talking with Betty you could see the glitter in her eyes when she talked about her children, and when you talked to her about her JESUS her whole being just glowed. She emplified the GLORY of GOD in her strong FAITH and TRUST in HIM. I was BLESSED to know her and call her friend and sister in the LORD. She will be greatly missed, but she is with the KING of Kings in heaven, TOTALLY HEALED. May the COMFORT and PEACE and PRESENCE of GOD be with you, her children and family.

I met Betty almost five years ago, when I first started going to the House of Restoration. I did not know who she was at first and Sheila told me that she was Pastor Dave's mother, and so I went over an said "Hi, to her and talked with her. She asked Pastor Dave about me and my mother. I had adopted Betty as my mother because she took interest in me and was closer to my mom's age. I loved her like I would love my own mother. She treated me like a mother would. I miss her, but I will always remember her. I am almost done with my fast and the Lord revealed so much to me during that time. It was within 10 days of my fast when I was praying for Betty, that the Lord told me he was going to take Betty home to be with Him. I did not know who to tell at that time so I kept it quiet. I still prayed for her healing hoping that the Lord would intervene and give her 15 years more to live. Betty was not getting better, then I knew that He was giving her the ultimate healing. The last time I saw Betty alive was on a Tuesday night Bible Study. I looked over at her and I saw a beautiful young lady that looked like Betty, but a much younger version of her. I could not keep my eyes off of her. The Lord had revealed to me what she will be looking like, when she gets to heaven. I did not know how to pray for her after she was placed on Hospice. I was in so much sorrow that I cried a lot and had to talk to Pastor Mike about how I was feeling and I asked him how I should pray about Betty. He told me to pray for God's will. I went home and prayed for God's will for Betty and prayed that He would be merciful to her. I asked Him to let her not feel any pain as He was preparing to take her home. God revealed to Pastor Dave that He was going to take Betty home. The Lord revealed to me all the pain and suffering everyone was going through. I asked Pastor Dave to Pray for me and he said he would. I did not know how to handle all the hurt and pain from me and the pain of others and I could not handle it. I knew Pastor Dave prayed for me because I felt peace, like I had never felt before. When Pastor Tom told me Tuesday that Betty passed away Monday at 11:30pm. I went home to give praise to God for being merciful to her, and for taking her home. Betty's work on earth is done. Betty has won the race big time. We will miss her very much but we will see her again in heaven. She will be waiting for us. I will be praying for everyone. God Bless you

To all the family members, I am so very sorry for your loss. It was a great honor to know Betty. She was a beautiful example of what it means for Christ living in us, and giving Him all the Glory no matter what is going on in our lives. Jesus shined through her till the end, and she blessed so many lives. I can not wait to see in heaven the numerous lives that were touched just through her witness of Christ to the world. She will be greatly missed. I pray I will show Christ to the world as she did. I pray for God's peace and comfort for you all through all this. Love in Christ Phillis
