Obituary of Pamela Brazill

Pamela Sue Squier was born on May 30, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of six children born to the union of the late Donald and Norma (Mattila) Squier. Pamela was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Monroe, Michigan. Pamela was a very dedicated and devoted employee; she supported her family with her position as a custodian at Jefferson Public Schools for more than twenty-five years. She enjoyed her career path and all of the people it introduced her to. Pamela was a member of the M.E.A. Union. She loved to go shopping, and complete puzzles. She lived for her grandchildren and their family functions, as family was highly valued. She made helping others a top priority, raising money for the less fortunate. She took enjoyment in every opportunity that gave her the privilege to assist someone and see them succeed. Pamela Sue Squier, age 65 of Newport passed away at 1:23pm on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Mercy Saint Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by To cherish her memory Pamela leaves four children: Scott (Kathleen) Brazill of Gibraltar; Kelly (Russ) Cooper of Ashville, North Carolina; Kimberly (Jeff) Machus of South Rockwood; and Kristi Bussell; three sisters: Barb Peer of Newport, Jackie (Jim) Green of Newport, Nancy (Steve) Clay of Ashland, Kentucky; one brother: Gary (Priscilla) Krolikowski; thirteen grandchildren: Ashly, Katelynn, Shayna, Jeffrey, Zachary, Aaron, Derek, Chad, Adam, Chantel, Brandon, Heaven, and Blaine; and three great grandchildren: Riley, Emma and Landon. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00pm also at Merkle's.
