Kenneth Franklin Fulner
March 29, 1951 -December 1, 2014
Kenneth Franklin Fulner was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 29, 1951. He was the only child born from the union of the late Franklin Fulner and the late Marion (Roberts) Fulner. Kenneth enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably during two tours in Vietnam. He served as a member of the Special Forces.
Kenneth was a proud father of five children. He worked many years as a truck driver to support himself and his family.
Kenneth was a very social individual. He remarkably had the ability to make connections wherever he went. Throughout life, Kenneth was blessed to create friendships with just about every person he spoke to. As a young man he had enjoyed the outdoors and liked to spend time hunting and fishing. Kenneth was an avid sports fan but none more than that of his beloved NASCAR.
Kenneth, age 63 of Newport passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, December 1, 2014. His passing was preceded by his parents.
To cherish his memory Kenneth leaves two daughters: Shawna Fulner of Monroe and April Fulner of Toledo; three sons: Kenneth Fulner II of Monroe, Shane (Victoria) Fulner of Flat Rock and Derek (Lauren) Fulner of Monroe; and eight grandchildren: Kaleb, Heather, Kyle, Hailey, Allison, Shana, Liam and Tyler.
