Ronald Warren Giardina was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on June 29, 1962. He married his best friend, Sandra Bowling, on January 19, 2006.
Ronald supported his family at Meijer as a warehouse clerk. He took on the role of union steward which gave him the opportunity to do what he loved the most, helping the employees in need.
Ronald had music in his blood. He enjoyed playing guitar with his band members in his garage. As an avid football fan he rooted for his favorite team, Michigan State Spartans.
Ronald loved his family and was always there for them. He cherished the time spent with his family vacationing, playing games and watching movies. His grandchildren were his prized possessions who always created fond memories for him. Ronald will be missed by his feline friends and his companions "Marley" and "Charlie."
Ronald Warren Giardina, age 52 of Monroe, Michigan passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at his home.
To cherish his memory, Ronald leaves his beloved wife of 8 years: Sandra Giardina of Monroe; four children: Jennifer West - Giardina of Carleton, Zachary Bowling, Kylie Rathbone and Kayla Sims all of Monroe; two sisters: Cheryl (Jackie) Monday of Kentucky and Cindy Bowling; a brother: Allen (Tanya) Jett of Taylor; two grandchildren: Gabriella Dowen and Abigail Dowen; three nephews and two nieces.
Friends may gather from 2:30pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe 2442 North Monroe Street. (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will take place at 11:00am on Friday, September 26, 2014 also at Merkle's with Pastor Tim Iocoangeli of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
