Annemarie Helga (Raisle) Roeder was born on November 27, 1940 in Frankfurt, Germany. She was the only child born from the union of the late Adolf Raisle and the late Maria (Nöller) Raisle. Annemarie married the love of her life, Guenter Roeder on April 4, 1968 in Hanau, Germany. From this union would come the birth of three children. The couple moved their family to North America in 1973 making their home in Canada. They would later move to Bloomfield Hills in 1991 before settling in Port Huron in 2004. Annemarie was a homemaker, supporting her husband and children in all their endeavors. She loved all the holidays, but she especially enjoyed Christmas and decorating their home in rich German tradition. Annemarie Helga Roeder, age 73 of Fort Gratiot, passed away peacefully at the Medilodge of Port Huron on Thursday, September 18, 2014. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by a daughter: Beatrice Plefka. To cherish her memory, Annemarie leaves her husband of forty-six years: Guenter of Fort Gratiot, Michigan; one son: Matthias (Kathleen) Roeder of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; one daughter: Corina (John) Mignano of Monroe; six grandchildren: William and Robert Roeder of Windsor and Sven Wollschlaeger, Enzo, Iana, and Jaxx Mignano all of Monroe. Annemarie's care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A private memorial service is being planned and her final rest will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
