Obituary of Lucille Furrow

Lucille E. Furrow, age 81 of Toledo, formerly of Dundee, passed away surrounded by her family at her daughters home in Ft. Wayne, Indiana while under hospice care. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia February 24, 1929 to Albert and Margaret (Hoffman) Jenkins. She had worked for Mike Yeck Manufacturing Company and LaDapa Tool and Die in Dundee for a total of 36 years. She was a member of the Dundee V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post 2984 in Toledo. Her survivors include her sons Gary Furrow of Toledo, Randy (Diane) Furrow of Ft. Wayne,IN, daughters Stacy Zink of Toledo and Brenda (Al) Lowery of Ft. Wayne, IN; twenty grand-children and twenty two great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by two sons Harold and Lonnie, her parents, a brother Albert Jenkins and sisters Clara Walters and Dorothy Spears. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the Dundee United Methodist Church officiating.
