Obituary of Paul E. Flaugher

Paul E. Flaugher, 48, of Dundee, passed away at 12:45 P.M., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Toledo Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Jackson, Michigan January 3, 1963 to Allen and Barbara (Hoskins) Flaugher. He married Brenda Heiden June 19, 1982 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee. Officiating was the Rev. Paul Horn. Paul loved sports, especially football and was a major University of Michigan football fan. He graduated from Willow Run High School in 1980 and had attended Eastern Michigan University and Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska prior to moving back to Dundee. He was employed at Page Plus in Toledo as an operations manager. Paul’s survivors include his wife Brenda; a son Thaddeus of Dundee; two daughters Melissa and Kaitlynne both of Dundee; granddaughter Makenzie Flaugher; his parents Allen and Barbara Flaugher of Ypsilanti; brothers Perry of Sterling Heights and Mark (Careylynn) of Gregory; sister Elaine (Eric) Cantrell of Ypsilanti and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Friends may call on Thursday from 1 – 8 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). He will lie in state on Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church, 460 Riley Street in Dundee from 10:00 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Rev. Annette Griffin.
