Robert "Bob" Lloyd Hamman
April 16, 1952 - February 12, 2011
Robert Lloyd Hamman was born at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio on April 16, 1952. He was one of six children born from the union of Charles "Bill" Hamman and the late Martha (Buyaki) Hamman. He attended Erie Mason Schools and graduated from Mason High School with the Class of 1970.
For more than twenty years Bob drove semi-truck. He hauled sand, stone, and cement. Bob had been employed by Nicholson Concrete and Sylvester Trucking. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 20 of Toledo. Several years ago he took a medical retirement.
For vacation, Bob enjoyed long meandering drives. As a loner, he visited most of the United States and Canada on his drives. Bob loved the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. Bob and his family enjoyed taking their trailer and touring Northern Michigan.
He loved animals and especially dogs and cats. He was quite proud of the fact that he fed most of the neighborhood cats; sometimes as many as twenty-nine. He liked to visit each and every casino. He was a huge Anne Murray fan and frequented her concerts.
