Carson "Eugene" Mullins
July 24, 1956 - October 12, 2010
Carson Eugene Mullins was born in Belleville, Michigan on July 24, 1956. He was the second born of six children from the union of the late Robert Alex Mullins and Lorene (Lands) Mullins. Eugene as he was known by his friends graduated from Belleville High School in 1974.
He married the love of his life the former Patricia McKinney on December 31, 1978. From this union came the birth of three children. Eugene took employment with United Brass Manufacturing, Inc. in Romulus, Michigan where he would work as a machinist for more than thirty-three years.
Eugene was well known for his work ethic. His family stated that he would work, work, work. Eugene did find time however to enjoy hunting, camping, and racing especially NASCAR. Grandchildren to Eugene were everything. He had spent a wonderful weekend recently camping and sharing time together. One of their favorite games was hide and seek. A few years ago Eugene just had to have a Model A, and his 1930 quickly became a grandchild favorite for riding around.
Eugene also was known for aggravating others, in fact, it was well known that he showed his love by aggravation. He had a great sense of humor; and felt it necessary to have fake spiders and blood at work just in case. He enjoyed listening to music and his tastes transcended many genres.
