Louise Harriet Carnovale
January 11, 1947 - January 16, 2010
Louise Harriet Ryan was born on January 11, 1947 in Alpena, Michigan. Louise was one of six children born from the union of William Ryan and Shirley (Black) Ryan. Louise grew up and attended school in the Alpena area prior to moving to Monroe County thirty five years ago.
She raised five children and Louise worked as a caretaker for more than 15 years in the Monroe area. She enjoyed her tasks and felt she was blessed with the opportunity to serve many seniors throughout the years.
Louise enjoyed the time that she spent with her family. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her. Louise loved listening to music. She was also an avid reader. She enjoyed a good scary movie as well although her favorite actors were John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Louise was fascinated with American Indian and Western Items which she viewed and collected.
Louise made her home with several animals who she loved dearly. She also loved traveling and had had a great time on recent trips to Reno and Chicago.
Louise Harriet Carnovale age 63of Maybee passed away at 3:55pm, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Toledo Hospital. Her passing was preceded by a grandson: John Aspden Jr.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her parents: William and Shirley Ryan of Lachine, Michigan; four daughters: Kimberly (Walter) Sutowski of Allen Park, Christine (John Mensinger) Aspden of Taylor, Tami (Douglas) Crego of Maybee, and Francesca (Christopher Huddleston) Carnovale of Newport; a son: Craig (Jane) Herron of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; two sisters: Roxie Maczik and Peggy Ryan; three brothers: Billy Ryan, Bobby Ryan, and Mike Ryan; twelve grandchildren: Mitchell Herron, Tess Herron, Daniel Kelley, Keegan Kelley, Halena Sutowski, Tacara Aspden, Natalie Mensinger, Lauren Herron, Joshua Crego, Brennan Crego, Andrew Huddleston, and Madelynn Huddleston; and one great granddaughter: Isabelle Foster.
Friends may gather from 12:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 7:00pm with the Rev. Jones pastor of Northbrook Church in Carleton officiating. Burial will take place at the Spratt Cemetery in Alpena, Michigan.
